MADISON - It's signing day and the Wisconsin Badgers football team is expected to sign 14 players for 2026..
The group includes three defensive linemen, two inside linebackers, defensive backs, running backs and receivers and one quarterback, offensive lineman and tight end.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe class comes from nine states. Three players are from Tennessee, two are from Wisconsin, California and Georgia and the rest hail from Massachusetts, Indiana, Florida, Ohio and Washington.
Here is a look at those players' senior highlight videos. They are expeced to make their commitments official Dec. 3 on the first day of the early signing period, which go through Dec. 5.
Djidjou Bah, defensive lineman
Committed: June 1
Hometown: Germantown, Tenn.
High school: Germantown.
Height, weight: 6-3, 265.
Ratings: Considered a consensus three-star prospect.
Senior season: The versatile lineman can make plays from different spots on the the line, a skill he used to help Germantown finish 7-4 and earn a spot in the state playoffs.

Committed: Nov. 26
Hometown: Arlington, Mass.
High school: Arlington.
Height, weight: 6-6, 280.
Rating: Considered a consensus three-star prospect.
Senior season: Bekkenhuis projects as an interior lineman at the collegiate level, but for Arlington he had the ability to play all five spots “His aggressiveness, physicality, and athleticism will serve him well at the next level,” Arlington coach Frank Roche wrote in an email. A four-year starter, Bekkenhuis was a two-time all-state selection and two-time team MVP. This winter he’ll be one of the top heavyweight wrestlers I the New England region.

Hometown: Fresno, Calif.
High school: Buchanan.
Height, weight: 6-0, 193.
Rating: Considered a three-star recruit.
Senior season: The former Oregon State commit helped his team finish 8-4 and reach the semifinals of the California Division i-AA Central Section playoffs by recording 44 tackles, 24 solos, and four tackles for a loss. He also intercepted three passes and broke up six others.
Carsen Eloms, defensive back
Committed: April 8.
Hometown: Fishers, Ind.
High school: Fishers.
Height, weight: 5-11, 185.
Ratings: Rated a three-star prospect.
Senior season: Eloms helped Fishers go 8-4 and reach the state semifinals of the Class 6A playoffs. He finished with 45 tackles, 36 solo, with eight passes broken up and one interception. He also returned kickoffs, averaging 19.7 yards per return in 18 returns.

Committed: Oct. 12.
Hometown: Medina, Tenn.
High school: South Gibson Country.
Height, weight: 6-5, 260.
Rating: Considered a three-star prospect.
Senior season: Gaad helped South Gibson reach the semifinals of the state playoffs. He finished with 42 tackles, 40 solos, with 13 sacks.
Ryan Hopkins, quarterback
Committed: April 13.
Hometown: Newport Beach, Calif.
High school: Mater Dei.
Height, weight: 6-3, 195.
Ratings: ESPN lists him as a four star prospect. Rivals and 247sports give him three stars.
Senior season: In his first season at Mater Dei, Hopkins led the team to an 8-3 record and the semifinals of the Division 2 Southern Section football championships. He finished the season with a 56.6% completion rate (147 of 251) for 2,275 yards, 16 touchdowns and six interceptions. His best showing was a 13-for-21 effort that netted 295 yards and five touchdowns in a 36-31 win over St. John Bosco on Oct. 31.

Hometown: Tyrone, Ga.
High school: Sandy Creek.
Height, weight: 6-0, 200.
Ratings: Considered a four-star recruit.
Senior season: Latimer lived up to expectations and more this season. He has helped his team go 13-0 and reach the state semifinals, which will be played Saturday Dec. 6. He has 2,171 yards and 40 touchdowns in 215 carries. That is 10.1 yards per rush and a touchdown every 5.4 times he runs the ball. He also has 13 catches for 352 yards and four touchdowns. His brother, Geimere, was the Badgers' starting nickel back this season.
Zion Legree, receiver
Committed: June 15.

Ratings: Considered a consensus three-star prospect.
Senior season: Legree has caught 42 passes for 627 yards, a 14.9-yards, and 10 touchdowns for Choctawhatchee, which has won 12 of 13 games and plays in the Florida state 4A semifinals Friday.
Taylor Schaefer, linebacker
Committed: Nov. 30.
Hometown: Brussels, Wis.
High school/previous college: Southern Door/Iowa Central Community College.
Height, weight: 6-4, 238.
Ratings: 247sports lists him as a three star junior college recruit.
2025 season: Schaefer signed with Division II Minnesota Duluth as a high school senior but never played there. Instead he landed Iowa Central where he made 49 tackles, including two sacks, in 12 games as a freshman. He almost double that as a sophomore, recording 97 tackles, the second highest total in the nation among junior college players, and five sacks, in 10 games. The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.named him its defensive player of the year.

Hometown: Streetsboro, Ohio.
High school: Streetsboro.
Height, weight: 6-3, 305.
Ratings: Considered a three-star prospect.
Senior season: Scott missed four regular season games due to injury but still was named the Division IV defensive player of the year for his region. He finished with 53 tackles, 40 solo, with 17 sacks and helped Streetsboro reach the second round of the state playoffs.
Jack Sievers, tight end
Committed: June 2.
Hometown: Everett, Wash.
High school: Archbishop Murray.
Height, weight: 6-4 ½, 240 pounds.
Ratings: ESPN gives him four stars. Rivals and 247sports list him as a three-star prospect.

Keeyshawn Tabuteau, receiver

Senior season: The former Vanderbilt commit has one of the most impressive stat lines to the Badgers' class. He caught 56 passes for 1,231 yards and 16 touchdowns. His averages were 22 yards per catch, 94.7 yards per game and a touchdown every 3 ½ catches. He finished the season with four 100-yard games that included a nine-catch, 227-yard performance in his final contest.

High school, weight: 6-3½, 217.
Ratings: Considered a three-star recruit.
Senior season: The three year starter finished with 112 tackles in 10 games, that included 68 solo stops, seven tackles for a loss and 5½ sacks. In Wenzel, North coach Robert Salm sees a player whose size, speed and frame give him a chance to succeed at the Power Four level. “We believe Ben is just scratching the surface of his potential,” Salm wrote in an email. “With his work ethic and physical gifts, he is poised to be a huge impact player for the Badgers. It has been an honor to watch his journey, and we can’t wait to see him excel on the big stage.”

Height, weight: 5-10, 195.
Rating: Considered a consensus three-star prospect.
Senior season: The former Florida International commit boosted his stock by leading his team to the semifinals of the Georgia State playoffs with a 12-0 record. He is averaging 112.4 yards per game with 17 touchdowns and five 100 yard games. He reaches he end zone once every 7.4 carries. In two playoff games he has ripped off 301 yards and two touchdowns in 40 carries, an average of 7.5 yards per rush.
