There are several clubs attentive to the situation surrounding Nicolas Jackson according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Jackson joined Bayern Munich on loan on deadline day, with an obligation to buy based on meeting an appearance based criteria, believed to be 40 starts in all competitions.

It’s been reported there’s almost no chance of Bayern signing Jackson permanently, and he’s started five games in all competitions so far.

Several clubs attentive to Nicolas Jackson situation

Jackson has made 15 appearances in all competitions, and has scored five goals, but has played second fiddle to Harry Kane.

The Senegalese is believed to be happy in Munich, but must surely be aware he’s unlikely to be there beyond the end of the season.

Chelsea received a loan fee of just over £14m, which is very impressive business, but it looks like they will have to find another suitor in the summer, and Romano has provided an update.

“Nico Jackson is ready to fight till the end to stay at Bayern,” he told Give Me Sport’s Market Madness.

“He’s very happy there, but eventually if it’s not going to be Bayern next season, I’m told that there are already several clubs attentive to the situation because Jackson will be on the market and he’s not going to stay at Chelsea.”

Unfortunately there is seemingly no way back at Chelsea, with Emmanuel Emegha set to join from Strasbourg next summer.

Chelsea well stocked in the striker department

Chelsea signed both Liam Delap and Joao Pedro in the summer, whilst they also have youngster Marc Guiu on the books.

Emegha will arrive next summer from Strasbourg, and Chelsea believe the Dutch international has greater potential than Jackson.

Chelsea need to hope he does well enough to keep his value up, and attract more suitors ahead of next summer, otherwise they could face another difficult task on their hands in trying to find a new club for the 24-year-old.
