Lake City grad Natalie Bremer earns national Player of the Week honor

Dec. 2—MANKATO — Lake City graduate Natalie Bremer, who on Monday was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference South Division Player of the Week in women's basketball, on Tuesday was named the WBCA/D2CIDA Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

It was the first national weekly award for the Minnesota State University, Mankato senior.

Bremer averaged 30 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals in wins over St. Cloud State and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

For the week, she shot 56% from the field, went 5-for-9 on 3-pointers and totaled eighth steals.

The Mavericks are 7-0.
