SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Orange basketball team is back in action, hosting the 13th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers in the ACC/SEC Challenge from the JMA Wireless Dome.
Syracuse (4-3) is set to play its fourth straight quadrant one opponent in Tennessee (7-1). The Vols represent the last of the quadrant one variety in the non-conference schedule. Donnie Freeman will be unavailable for Syracuse with a lower-body injury. It will also mark the fourth straight game without Freeman.

Seven NBA scouts will be on hand for Syracuse-Tennessee, including on G-League scout.
Tennessee leads the all-time series 5-3, including four straight wins over the Orange. Syracuse is a 7.5-point underdog in this one. The over/under is set at 146.5.
