Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid spoke with reporters on Friday during his press conference, explaining the latest reason for listing starting running back Isiah Pacheco as out for a third consecutive game.
“As far as the injuries go, everybody practiced today. We’re going to end up listing (Isiah) Pacheco as out here in a minute,” said Reid, “Look forward to the challenge of playing Indy, heck of a football team. Again, we look forward to playing at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.”

“It wasn’t a setback. We were kind of seeing where he (Isiah Pacheco) was at. Trying to give him some work,” said Reid, “He did some scout team stuff and running around. It was literally just to see where he was at. I think he’s coming out and feeling pretty good right now, and that’s a plus.”
Kansas City will once again look to veteran Kareem Hunt and likely rookie Brashard Smith as its primary running backs. The game could be another proving opportunity for offseason signee Elijah Mitchell.
