A little over a month after flipping from Louisiana Tech to LSU, three-star wide receiver Kervin Johnson Jr. is on the move again.

He announced on Tuesday that he has moved his pledge from the Tigers to Ole Miss following the coaching change in Baton Rouge. His commitment to the Bayou Bengals was always a tenuous one, as he made his decision the day after coach Brian Kelly was fired, joining a program at the time led by interim coach Frank Wilson.

With Lane Kiffin and his staff stepping in over the weekend, the Rebels quickly moved to get him in their class and were able to do so.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Johnson is the No. 651 overall prospect in the 2026 class, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, an equally weighted average that utilizes all three major recruiting services.

He also ranks as the nation’s No. 99 wide receiver and No. 22 recruit in Louisiana.

As a senior, Johnson hauled in 61 receptions for 1,350 yards and 16 touchdowns.
