The Green Bay Packers made three changes to the practice squad on Tuesday, releasing two players and signing former cornerback Shemar Bartholomew.
The two players released were cornerback Tyron Herring and receiver Michael Woods II.

He played 17 snaps on defense and 34 more on special teams, producing three tackles and two pass breakups. The Minnesota Vikings released him from the practice squad on Tuesday of last week.
More than likely, releasing Woods will open a spot for Will Sheppard to return on the practice squad. Sheppard was signed to the 53-man roster from the practice squad last Wednesday to provide depth at receiver against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day. He did not appear in the game and was released on Monday. By Wednesday, Sheppard could be back on the practice squad.
Herring was signed as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 draft. He spent all of training camp with the Packers but was released at final roster cutdowns. After spending a few weeks on the practice squad of the New England Patriots, Herring returned on the Packers practice squad to end October.
Woods was signed to the Packers practice squad on Nov. 4. Neither Herring nor Woods was elevated to the gameday roster while with the Packers this season.
