The Miami Heat have continued their hot streak into a new month, beating the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday with a final score of 140-123.

Powell was also tied for the most minutes played by a Miami Heat player with 32. Despite finishing the game, he's picked up another injury to add to the groin strain he's dealt with for a large part of the season.
Norman Powell sprains ankle, questionable for Wednesday vs. Mavericks
According to Miami Heat insider Anthony Chiang, Norman Powell sprained his left ankle in Monday's win over the Clippers. He's labeled as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementPowell will most likely go through a pregame ritual to help determine if he will play or not. If he's unable to suit up, expect Jaime Jaquez to enter the starting lineup and get increased playing time.
In his first year with the Heat after being traded during the offseason, Powell is averaging a career-high in points (25.0) and rebounds (3.7) while shooting 50.9% from the field and 45.8% from the three.
The insider also mentioned that forward Keshad Johnson (illness) and guard Pelle Larson (sprained toe) are listed as questionable as well.
