The Denver Broncos are on a nine-game bender where they have won four consecutive games by four points or less. The latest great escape came by virtue of a Nik Bonitto batted pass of Washington Commanders quarterback Marcus Mariota on what would have been a game-deciding two-point conversion.
ESPN's flagship program, SportsCenter, took an in-depth look at the Broncos' win, which put them at 10 wins with five games to go in the regular season.

"I say it so often, and I get sick of hearing me say it, but you gotta win the coin-flip games in this league, and this literally, as you just diagrammed, comes down to the difference between winning and losing, to one play," Van Pelt mentioned.
Guest host Tim Hasselbeck was asked by Van Pelt about what to make of the 10-2 Broncos. "We talk about winning close games; details matter," said Hasselbeck. "Coaches say it's a game of inches because details matter. Good coached teams are good on the details."
The Broncos came in third in ESPN's latest NFL power rankings, behind only the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams.
