The Florida State Seminoles, on the eve of the Early Signing Period, have flipped an offensive lineman away from Syracuse.
Steven Pickard is a 6-foot-5, 300 pound lineman who plays for IMG Academy. 247Sports considers him the 2,473rd best player in the nation (227th best interior OL, 270th best player in FL). In fairness, he has not been reevaluated since July 2025, so I would anticipate that ranking to rise.

Syracuse just fired its offensive line coach, which led to Pickard choosing FSU instead. His other two reported offers were from Syracuse and NC State.
Pickard is expected to enroll in January. He is a native of Charleston, South Carolina.
