By Fernando Quiles JrShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberWWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk has announced the passing of rescue dog Larry. Both Punk and his wife, AJ Lee, cared for Larry since 2015. Punk and Lee adopted Larry from Paws Chicago, a no-kill humane organization.
Punk issued a statement on Instagram reflecting on Larry's life, and he expressed grief.

"Nothing I write, no pictures I post would do him justice," Punk wrote. "He lived a long amazing life. He watched sunsets, he chased skateboards. He made everywhere we went with him home. What a privilege to be so heartbroken and devastated for having experienced such a bond.
"I wouldn’t change anything. Our boy is at rest. The house is quiet but we still hear the jingle of his necklace and the tip taps of his little feet on the hardwood floors. He will always be near. We will always feel him. Our hearts are broken. Until we see you again, sweetest Bobo. We love you. Forever."

Larry The Dog in Wrestling
Punk was never shy about introducing Larry to the professional wrestling world. He often mentioned his late dog in promos during his time in AEW and continued to do so throughout his second run with WWE. Larry even made an off-camera appearance in front of a live crowd at "AEW All Out 2022."
Behind the scenes, Punk once posted a humorous image of Larry taking over for WWE's chief content officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque in the "Gorilla Position." A slew of fans have sent their condolences to Punk and Lee following the announcement of Larry's passing.
