Fan voting for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games has been open for a week now, but as of Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. CT, just one New Orleans Saints player ranked top-10 at his position group. And that's tight end Juwan Johnson.
Johnson ranked tenth at tight end, but sixth among his peers in the NFC. That's going to make it tougher for him to get to the all-star event while competing with better-known names like Trey McBride (No. 1), Jake Ferguson (No. 6), George Kittle (No. 7), Colston Loveland (No. 8), and Sam LaPorta (No. 9). LaPorta suffered a season-ending back injury in November that's going to keep him out of the Pro Bowl Games, but he's still on the ballot.

Ferguson (70) is also ahead of him and so is Kyle Pitts (56), who didn't make the top-10 in fan voting after the first week. Johnson also ranks fourth in receiving yards at tight end (576) and behind only McBride (879) in the NFC.
It would be awfully ironic if Johnson made the cut. He's been a frustrating player to watch despite his objectively improved performance -- he's already set career highs in catches, yards, and first down conversions this season -- after signing a lucrative contract extension. At the same time, Johnson has dropped at least six passes this year, also a career-high while missing his blocking assignments when the Saints have tried to run behind him. Still, his receiving numbers and fantasy football popularity have done a lot to keep him on the national radar. Maybe he'll be a Pro Bowler after all.
