It's the quarterfinal round of the AHSAA football playoffs are set, and high school football teams in the Montgomery-area can almost feel the berth to the Super 7 state championships.

In what started out as an 11-team field from the Montgomery-area, is now down to three teams in round three of the AHSAA football playoffs. Of the three teams, two earned the right to host a quarterfinal round game.

AHSAA football playoffs quarterfinal round schedule in the Montgomery-area

The Montgomery-area will play host to two games with the headliners being Montgomery Catholic and Pike Road earning home field advantage for the quarterfinal round of the AHSAA football playoffs. Montgomery Academy will have to find success on the road for the first time in the playoffs when it faces Bayside Academy.

Most of the AHSAA football playoff games in the Montgomery area are available to stream on the NFHS Network. It is a subscription service that cost $13.99 but gives to access to all content on the site, across all sports.

It is up to the schools to provide the stream, so it's not a guarantee that all games in all sports are available but most area schools look to have at least some football games on the site.
