After all the speculation, the LSU rumors, and ALL those Lane Kiffin cryptic posts, we have... a statement from Ole Miss Athletic Director Keith Carter about the meeting he had with the school's Chancellor on Friday.
"While we discuss next steps, we know we cannot lose sight of what is most important -- our sixth-ranked team that is poised to finish the regular season in historic fashion," it read. "Despite the outside noise, Coach Kiffin is focused on preparing our team for the Egg Bowl, and together, we want to ensure that out players and coaches can concentrate fully on next Friday's game."

Except, there's this: "An announcement on Coach Kiffin's future is expected the Saturday following the game."
Now: That could mean he'll say he's coming back. But if he WAS coming back, wouldn't the statement SAY that? Hmmm.
Ole Miss fans thought Lane Kiffin was out after the statement
Hmmm.
