Texas A&M (6-2) will face Pitt (5-3) on Tuesday night during the annual ACC/SEC challenge, as the Aggies are coming off a blowout 95-69 road win over Florida State, earning their first Quad 2 win of the year, and hoping to keep the momentum flowing amid a rocky start to the year after falling to Oklahoma State and UCF.

Amid Texas A&M's 2025 football season, the Aggies are headed to the College Football Playoff despite falling to rival Texas on Friday night. While the fan base has watched most of the basketball team's start to the season, the CFP won't begin for two more weeks, providing ample time to support first-year head coach Bucky McMillan and his talented roster.

After missing the first five games of the season, transfer forward Mackenzie Mgbako has been stellar thus far, providing a spark on both sides, especially as a rebounder, while one of McMillan's key starters, Kansas transfer guard Rylan Griffen, has been out the past two games due to an illness, but is slated to return on Tuesday night.

On Monday, Texas A&M's media team released a video of the team travelling to Pittsburgh to face the Panthers, which featured Griffen de-boarding the plane, which is an obvious sign that the junior is back and ready to take the court.

This season, Griffen, one of the more proficient shooters on the team outside of Rubén Domínguez, is averaging 11.2 PPG and 3.8 APG while shooting 40% from 3-point range.

Texas A&M vs. Pittsburgh will tip off at 6:30 p.m. and air on ESPNU.
