A woman asked her husband to get their Christmas decorations down from the loft, but it didn’t end well.

In a clip on TikTok, @sairvranch showed the aftermath of the mission: one leg—the foot donning a croc shoe—dangling straight down through a hole in the ceiling.

Newsweek contacted @sairvranch via direct message on TikTok for comment.

The original poster (OP), who goes by Sair in her bio, featured Raye’s “fitting” "WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!" over her short clip.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), holiday-decorating mishaps send thousands to emergency rooms each season. One estimate puts the total for 2012 at about 15,000 injuries nationwide during November and December alone.

Common causes of these injuries include falls, especially from ladders or roofs, and about 34 to 41 percent of holiday decorating ER visits are due to falls.

User @sairvranch’s clip has gone viral on TikTok, amassing 1.9 million views. In the comments, other users were in hysterics at the holiday horror.

“Sir, I think you departed the loft one exit too early,” one user wrote.

“Not me thinking the insulation was a leg with an amputated foot,” another laughed.

A third commented, “My hubby did this a week before our house sale was due to complete!”

“My dad did this on Xmas eve one year getting Santa’s pressies from the loft. Mum coulda [sic] killed him but told us Santa couldn’t fit down our chimney so came thru the ceiling. Best xmas ever,” another shared.

Others were concerned for the husband. In the comments, the OP confirmed he was OK. “He is absolutely fine and still has the crocs on—still not in sports mode.”

Many users asked for the original audio with the sound in real time. In the clip, the OP couldn’t contain her laughter, while her husband, still suspended in his position, said, “I don’t know which way to go, I’m actually stuck. If I tread, chances are more of it’s gonna [sic] fall down.”

“Yep, the sound makes it 10 times funnier! The sheer panic and frustration in his voice while you’re just laughing! That would be me,” one user wrote.
