Jermaine Montgomery and the Monroe Red Jackets defeated Owego Free Academy 48-7 in the Class B State Semifinals. On Saturday, December 6th, Monroe will play for a chance to become the first Rochester City School to win a football state championship.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementMontgomery played a huge role in the semifinal win. He finished with two catches for 60 yards and two touchdowns. He also added a rushing two-point conversion.
Defensively, Montgomery led Monroe with 13 tackles.
The Red Jackets head to the JMA Wireless Dome, and with them, they bring out Player of the Week.
