Drake Maye's stat line during Patriots' 10-game winning streak is unreal originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The New England Patriots notched their 10th-straight victory on Monday night, beating the New York Giants soundly, 33-15.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementPer usual, budding superstar quarterback Drake Maye played a massive role in the win after completing 24-of-31 passes for 282 yards and two touchdowns to no picks. Maye added six carries for 12 yards.
After his latest impressive performance, Maye has thrown for 2,627 passing yards and 18 touchdowns to four interceptions over the last 10 games.
Just when you think Maye couldn't strengthen his MVP case any further, the second-year signal-caller goes ahead and does it.
Maye might already be the front-runner for the award (he should be), but he simply won't be denied if the Pats can win the AFC East and grab the No. 1 seed.

New England maintains its three-and-a-half-game grip (including tie-breaker) over the Buffalo Bills in the division and they are sitting atop the conference, just ahead of the Denver Broncos, who are one back in the win column.
After so many great years with future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady at the helm, New England had some real lean seasons.
However, it's safe to say the Patriots are back, and it's all thanks to Drake.
