MADISON – A week after the Wisconsin football program lost a receiver recruit to a team from the Southestern Conference, the Badgers flipped a former SEC commit to their 2026 class.

Keeyshawn Tabuteau, a 6-foot, 180-pound standout from McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, told Rivals that he committed to Wisconsin on Dec. 1.

The news pushes the Badgers’ 2026 class to 15 players and gives it a second receiver with Zion Legree of Florida. The addition also compensates for the loss of Jayden Pettit, a receiver from Florida who decommitted from UW on Nov. 26 and committed to Oklahoma the next day.

Tabuteau is considered a three-star prospect by Rivals, 247sports and ESPN. ESPN lists him as the No. 68 receiver in the class.

Tabuteau committed to Vanderbilt on June 17.

According to Maxpreps, he has caught 56 passes for 1,231 yards and 16 touchdowns this season to help McCallie finish 10-3. That’s an average of 94.7 yards per game and 22 yards per catch.
