Uzomah was a core piece of the Super Bowl run a few years ago, but left the Bengals after the 2022 season to join the New York Jets. He last surfaced on the practice squad and briefly on the active roster with Philadelphia last season, winning a Super Bowl there.

Two other former Bengals, wideout Cole Burgess and tight end Tanner McLachlan, worked out with the San Francisco 49ers.

Burgess was an undrafted free agent out of SUNY in 2024. McLachlan was a sixth-round pick by the Bengals in 2024 and waived this past August with an injury designation at final cuts.
