After a very successful round of European competitions last time, most Bayern loanees followed their parent club’s performance this week. Stuttgart was the only team that won in Europe this week, but then they came back to domestic play and fell to HSV. There were also a couple multiple assist matches from the loanees this week and a couple close losses for their teams. Also, Edna Imade gained her first international cap in a match against Germany. FC Bayern Munich
There are nine players from on loan from the first team.

There are four players on loan to the German Bundesliga: Alexander Nübel, Arijon Ibrahimovic, Daniel Peretz, and Armando Sieb.
Alexander Nübel – VfB StuttgartNübel started for Stuttgart in the Netherlands as they took on Go Ahead Eagles in the Europa League on Thursday. He recorded just two saves in the road win, but that was enough to keep a shutout for his team. They supported him with four goals and won 4-0.
Nübel was also in goal as Stuttgart returned to Germany for a league match against Hamburg. He only faced two shots on goal — including one in the fourth minute of stoppage time — but did not save either shot. His teammates were only able to score one goal, which looked like it would be enough to earn a draw, but the stoppage time goal ended up being a winner at 2-1.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementStuttgart will play a third road match in a row when they travel to face VfL Bochum in the DFB-Pokal on Wednesday. They will finally return home to face Bayern on Saturday.
Arijon Ibrahimović – 1. FC HeidenheimIbrahimović started for Heidenheim away to Union Berlin. He came into the match in the 57th minute with his team down 1-0. He created four chances for his teammates to shoot — the most of anyone on either team. Heidenheim scored an equalizer in the 90th minute. Five minutes later, Ibrahimović’s created chance turned into an assist in a late goal that won the match 2-1 on the road. This was the second win of the season for Heidenheim.
Heidenheim will host Freiburg on Saturday.

HSV will host Holstein Kiel in the DFB-Pokal on Wednesday. They will also host Werder Bremen on Sunday.
Armindo Sieb – 1. FSV Mainz 05Sieb was on the bench for Mainz for their Conference League match in Romania against Universitea Craiova. He did not make it onto the pitch for their 1-0 loss.
Sieb was again on the bench for Mainz’ match at SC Freiburg. He came into the match with his team down 3-0 and down to ten men. He was unable to influence the match much, with just one chance created on his only completed pass. Freiburg added one more goal and the match ended as a 4-0 away loss for bottom of the table Mainz.

England – Premier League
There are two player on loan to the English Premier League: João Palhinha and Jonah Kusi-Asare.
João Palhinha – TottenhamPalhinha was on the bench for Tottenham’s Champions League match in Paris against PSG. Tottenham had a l1-0 lead in the first half and a 2-1 lead in the second before going down 4-2. Palhinha came into the match in the 76th minute, just moments after Spurs brought the score within one at 4-3. He did not have a shot attempt nor did he create a chance for his teammates to shoot. Spurs were unable to find an equalizer, but allowed another to fall 5-3.

He went again without a shot attempt nor a chance for his teammates to shoot. He completed 88% of his passes and was subbed off just after Spurs pulled a goal back in the 60th minute. Spurs could not find an equalizer in the remainder of the match.
Tottenham will travel to face Newcastle on Tuesday and return home to host Brentford on Saturday.
Jonah Kusi-Asare – FulhamKusi-Asare was on the bench for Fulham’s 2-1 win over Palhinha and Spurs, but did not make it onto the pitch.

Spain – La Liga
Bryan Zaragoza is the only player on loan to Spain’s La Liga.
Bryan Zaragoza – Celta VigoZaragoza was on the bench for the Europa League match in Bulgaria against Ludogorets Razgrad. He came into the match in the 58th minute down 2-0, but a penalty goal four minutes later scored made it 3-0. Zaragoza created three chances for his teammates to shoot — two of which turned into assists on his teams only two goals. He also had three shots — one blocked and two off target. Unfortunately they could not find another goal and they fell 3-2 on the road.

Celta Vigo will travel to face Sant Andreu on Thursday in Copa del Rey. They will also travel to face Real Madrid in La Liga play on Sunday.
Switzerland – Super League
Lovro Zvonarek is the only player on loan from the first team to the Swiss Super League.
Lovro Zvonarek – GrasshopperZvonarek started and played the full 90 minutes on the road against FC Zürich. He had one shot — off target — and created a chance for his teammates to shoot. He also helped limit the damage on defense with two tackles, one clearance, two interceptions, and two recoveries. His contributions on both sides of the ball were not enough to get a result on the road and they fell 1-0.

Germany – 2. Bundesliga
There are two players from the first team on loan to the 2. Bundesliga: Maurice Krattenmacher and Tarek Buchman.
Maurice Krattenmacher – Hertha BSCKrattenmacher was on the bench on for the beginning of Hertha’s match on the road to Holstein Kiel. He came into the match in the 75th minute, just after his team went up 1-0. He only had 12 touches in the short time on the pitch and could not help his team find another goal on the road, but they were able to keep the lead and win 1-0 on the road.
