This is Wilson’s first time as a healthy scratch in his 14-year career.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe veteran had served as the backup to Jameis Winston the past two weeks, but with rookie Jaxson Dart back from his concussion, he’s officially been pushed back down on the depth chart.
Wilson will, however, dress as the emergency third quarterback.
Hyatt hasn’t seen the field since he stopped on his route late in New York’s loss to the Packers, leading to a game-sealing interception in the end zone.
The young WR has appeared in just five catches in seven games so far this season.
New York’s other inactives include OLB Kayvon Thibodeau (shoulder), ILB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (neck/knee), CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse, OLB Victor Dimukeje, and OT James Hudson III.
