Despite initially being ruled a season-ending injury, a new report on Friday, November 21 said that Pribula is set to return on Saturday as the Tigers take on No. 8 Oklahoma.
The injury occurred early in the second half. Facing a fourth-and-goal at the one-yard line, Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz called what appeared to be a quarterback-designed run play call for Pribula. The quarterback was tackled on the play short of the goalline, and immediately carted off of the field. The trainers also put an air cast on the signal-caller's left leg.
It looked like his leg was held by a defender as he was trying to continue running:
Pribula had thrown for 68 yards on the day before his injury. After the game, Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz told reporters that Pribula "could be out for awhile." An encouraging piece of news though, was that he didn't have any broken bones:

Who is Pribula's backup?
When the quarterback went down, Missouri true freshman Matt Zollers was seen warming up on the sideline. He previously saw action in three of Mizzou's games so far this season. Missouri quarterback Sam Horn, who was fighting for the starting job with Pribula, got injured earlier in the season, and has been ruled out for the year.

Zollers is a former 4-star quarterback from the class of 2025. Per 247Sports, he was the No. 9 overall signal-caller in his class out of Royersford, Penn. so far this year.
