Pennsylvania Highlands' bowling team to start season Jan. 13

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Highlands Community College bowling team has released its schedule for the 2026 campaign.

The defending Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference and Region 20 champions will compete in six regular-season matches, two of which will be at home. Penn Highlands will also participate in two postseason tournaments, hoping to earn a spot in the NJCAA bowling championships.

Penn Highlands will begin its season by hosting a WPCC match Jan. 13 at 814 Lanes & Games in Johnstown. All dates and times are subject to change.

Jan. 16 at Main Bowling Center (Greensburg)

Jan. 20 at Coral Lanes & Lounge (West Mifflin)

Jan. 23 at Main Bowling Center (Greensburg)

Jan. 27 at 814 Lanes & Games (Johnstown)

Jan. 30 at Coral Lanes & Lounge (West Mifflin)

The Black Bears will then compete in the WPCC Tournament Feb. 6 at Main Bowling Center and the Region 20 Tournament Feb. 13 at Coral Lanes & Lounge.

Qualifiers will advance to the NJCAA bowling championships, set for March 5-7 at Royal Scot Golf & Bowl in Lansing, Michigan.
