Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid may have given reporters his 'quote of the year' during a press conference on Monday, December 1.
When veteran journalist Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest asked Reid about his confidence entering the final stretch of the 2025 regular season, the long-tenured head coach used a hilarious turn of phrase to describe his offensive approach:

"That’s the attitude that we’re coming in with and you let the chips fall where they may. But at the same time, you have got to make sure you take care of the small things here that we’ve got rolling. We have got to make sure we get rid of some of these mistakes, but there’s not a game that I go into that I don’t think we’re going to get after you.”
Kansas City's record dropped to 6-6 after the Chiefs' Week 13 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day, and the reigning AFC champions are currently pacing to miss the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
With a matchup against the Houston Texans scheduled for Week 14, Kansas City no longer has any margin for error if it intends to secure a spot in the postseason.
Fans should stay tuned to see if Reid and his team can tickle the Texans' tonsils on Sunday.
