University of New Hampshire junior Peyton Strickland was named to the 2025 New England Football Writers Association All-New England Team on Monday.
A tight end from Goffstown, Strickland made the team as a fullback.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementStrickland’s UNH teammate, Nick Reed, a sophomore kicker, also made the team alongside Dartmouth College’s Chris Corbo (tight end), D.J. Crowther (running back) and Delby Lemieux (offensive lineman).
Strickland also made the Coastal Athletic Association All-Conference First Team as a fullback/halfback. He has always been listed as a tight end.
A former standout at Goffstown High School, Strickland recorded UNH single-season career highs in receptions (24), yards (226) and touchdowns (four) this fall.
The Wildcats went 8-5 overall this season. They lost 41-3 at South Dakota State University in the first round of the NCAA Division I FCS playoffs on Saturday.
