Colorado football and Deion Sanders signed 15 freshmen in the 2025 recruiting class, and just two days later, the Buffaloes lost their season finale against Kansas State. Four recruits are already entering the transfer portal.

Walker was a top 100 Georgia recruit, but only played two defensive snaps and 19 special teams plays. He was seen as the future at linebacker, but now he will be somewhere else in 2026, leaving a major hole for Sanders to fill.
"He's going to be the guy next year. Very smart, physical linebacker," senior linebacker Jeremiah Brown said of Walker. "The instincts he came with, he's very mature for his age. He's always early, does the routine I do in here every day. He's going to be on pace for a good season."
Four players departing is likely just the tip of the iceberg for a 3-9 Colorado team that lacked in several different areas. With the transfer portal officially opening on January 2, expect more departures, along with several additions, as Sanders tries to plug holes on the roster.
