Per Chris Hummer of 247 Sports and Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, co-offensive coordinator Joe Cox, linebackers coach Chris Kiffin, inside wide receivers coach Sawyer Jordan, wide receivers coach George McDonald, general manager Billy Glasscock and head strength and conditioning coach Nick Savage will also leave for LSU.

Per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Kiffin is giving the rest of the Rebels staff until Monday night to decide if they want to join him at LSU before he starts filling the remaining positions.

On Monday morning, reports surfaced that Kiffin intended to retain defensive coordinator Blake Baker for the same position in 2026. Ole Miss defensive coordinator Pete Golding was promoted to the permanent head coaching gig on Sunday.

However, Baker might not be staying with LSU.

Per Garland Gillen of WVUE-TV, Baker is interviewing for the open Tulane job pretty immediately after reports came out that his job was safe at LSU.

"Sources tell me LSU DC Blake Baker is in New Orleans today interviewing for the Tulane head coaching vacancy," Gillen posted on X.

Green Wave head coach Jon Sumrall is leaving Tulane to replace Billy Napier at Florida. If No. 24 Tulane defeats North Texas in the American Conference championship on Friday, the Green Wave are expected to have a chance to make the College Football Playoff.

It'll be interesting to see who Kiffin would go after for the defensive coordinator gig if Baker left for a Group of 5 job. The majority of the staff Kiffin is bringing over from Ole Miss are on the offensive line side of the ball.

His former defense is trying to win a championship.
