It’s a few days before Early Signing Day (ESD), so you know what that means. Flip season is here, and several teams are about to find out whether they’ll receive a lump of coal or a nice gift in their recruiting stocking.
Nothing is official until a National Letter of Intent (NLI) is signed, and with all the coaching changes, some players may choose to wait until National Signing Day in the first week of February.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementTexas A&M, currently sitting just outside the top 10 recruiting classes for 2026, is looking to climb a few spots in the coming days with a few flips of their own. At this point, three high-profile targets have already made their decisions. The Aggies managed to flip speedy wide receiver Jayden Warren away from Houston but lost running back Jonathan Hatton Jr. to Oklahoma, a program he had previously committed to earlier this year.
Meanwhile, there was a key defender A&M wanted in its secondary, and the staff made a strong impression over the past few weeks. Aggie target Bralan Womack did decide to flip, but unfortunately for A&M, he chose to remain in his home state and will sign with Mississippi State.
