Women’s International Round-Up

Mia Enderby and Faye Kirby both featured for the England U23s in their hard-fought 4-2 loss to the United states, with Kirby playing the full match in the net. Enderby played 78 minutes in a match England could have won had the Young Lionesses been more clinical in front of goal.

England had to come back from 2-0 down, and started the second half well — including with a key save from Kirby after the Young Lionesses got one back, but unfortunately the USA restored their lead shortly thereafter.

Hannah Silcock was on the bench for this one.

Over the weekend Fuka Nagano (Japan) and Leanne Kiernan (Ireland) both featured in friendly wins over Canada and Hungary, respectively.
