From 2008 to 2013, the Minnesota Vikings had Ryan Silverfield on their coaching staff. He started as an offensive quality control coach before moving up to being an assistant on the defensive line staff. From there, his final promotion came as an assistant to the offensive line. He would eventually land in the college ranks, which is where he became the head coach at Memphis.
Fast forward to today, the present-day Ryan Silverfield will not be wearing Vikings colors again anytime soon after he was named the head coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks on Sunday.

He now heads from the AAC to the SEC with a program looking to bounce back from some awful years. He has shown that he can do that with college programs, and NFL offensive and defensive lines, but his work will be cut out for him
