After helping Michigan State football win their first conference win of the season, freshman quarterback Alessio Milivojevic has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week for week 14 of the college football season.
Milivojevic lit up against Maryland, continuing his extremely strong play this season after taking over for Aidan Chiles. The talented freshman threw for 292 yards and four touchdowns while throwing just one interception. The Spartans took down the Terrapins in Ford Field to earn their fourth win of the season, 38-28.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementOn the season, Milivojevic is now up to 1,267 yards passing, throwing 10 touchdowns and just three interceptions on the year. Retaining Milivojevic will be a high priority for incoming head coach Pat Fitzgerald as he takes over for the Spartans next season.
