The New England Patriots will have their hands full when hosting the New York Giants for a primetime Monday Night Football game in Week 13.

It would be easy to write off the Giants considering the team is on a six-game losing streak. They haven't won a game since their shocking upset victory over the Philadelphia Eagles back in early October. Meanwhile, the Patriots are on a nine-game winning streak and tied for the best overall record in the NFL at 10-2.

On paper, this is what most would consider a throwaway game.

It's important to note that the Giants have faced three consecutive opponents with seven or more wins in games decided by a touchdown or less. In their six straight losses, five of those teams have eight or more wins. The degree of difficulty has been ridiculous for the Giants in recent weeks, and they are clearly a better football team than their 2-10 record indicates.

They will be facing a seriously wounded Patriots team with starting left tackle Will Campbell and starting left guard Jared Wilson both out for the game. The Patriots also officially listed starting center Garrett Bradbury as questionable to play due to an illness. That could create some openings for the Giants' struggling defensive front to finally inflict damage on an opposing quarterback with Drake Maye missing at least the entire left side of his offensive line.

On the offensive side of the ball, the Giants will have quarterback Jaxson Dart back under center, which at least gives them a chance to go blow-for-blow with New England's offense.

With that said, Patriots coach Mike Vrabel will have the team fired up and ready to go, no matter who is available. The Patriots will be at home against a Giants team that has been a walking disaster more often than not. Running backs Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson could also be a big problem for the Giants' last-ranked rushing defense.

Here's who the Patriots Wire staff is picking in the Week 13 matchup:

Danny Jaillet: Patriots 31, Giants 17

Sophie Weller: Patriots 27, Giants 21

Jordy McElroy: Patriots 27, Giants 24

Jacob Rebb: Patriots 24, Giants 20
