Jayden Daniels' mother hints at injury status and potential return

In a video that surfaced on "X" the morning after the Washington Commanders' 27-26 overtime loss to the Denver Broncos, Jayden Daniels' mother, Regina Jackson, was recorded seemingly hinting at her son's return from injury.

As Jackson was seen exiting the stadium, a fan was heard on video asking a question about Daniels' status in terms of his recovery.

Jackson responded with "He will, don't worry about it," before pumping her fist to the air, before continuing to exit the stadium.

The fan heard in the video, clearly upset with the news, responds with, "No, no, no, full recovery! We're tanking!"

Daniels was injured in Washington's Week 9 38-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, where late in the fourth quarter, he left the game after his non-throwing arm bent awkwardly while he was being tackled near the Seahawks' goal line.

Since he was injured, Washington has lost three straight games to the Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, and the Broncos, and now sits at 3-9.

The Commanders face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 14, where they hope to snap a seven-game losing streak. Will Daniels be healthy enough to make his return, or will Marcus Mariota remain the starter?
