For the first time ever, Dancing With The Stars is hosting a holiday special called Dancing With The Holidays, and there are a few ways that fans can tune into this festive and fun event. Dancing With The Holidays airs on December 2, 2025, one week after the Dancing With The Stars season 34 finale, which crowned Robert Irwin and Witney Carson as the winners.
Hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough and judged by Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli, the Dancing With The Stars season 34 finale featured five couples competing in three rounds, including the Judges' Choice, Instant, and Freestyle dances. The couples included champions Robert and Witney, runners-up Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa (third place), Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach (fourth place), and Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten (fifth place).

Dancing With The Holidays airs on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+. It will air simultaneously on both channels, just like the show did during the regular season. In addition, the special will be available to stream on Hulu the day after it airs. Unlike the regular episodes of Dancing With The Stars, Dancing With The Holidays is one hour long instead of two.

Although most of the Dancing With The Holidays performances will be a surprise, an ABC press release revealed that during the show, "The ballroom comes alive with holiday magic as Dancing with the Stars celebrates the season with festive-themed routines, dazzling musical performances and special holiday greetings."
During the Dancing With The Stars season 34 finale, Alfonso and Julianne revealed some of the details about the special. Alfonso teased exciting dances from the show's professional dancers, surprise guests, and a performance from Pentatonix. Dancing With The Stars season 34 contestant Scott Hoying is a member of Pentatonix. He was the fifth competitor to be eliminated, along with his professional dance partner, Rylee Arnold.
In addition, Julianne confirmed that she and Alfonso will be part of Dancing With The Holidays when she said that she was so glad that they'd get to celebrate the holiday season together in the ballroom.
According to an ABC press release, Dancing With The Stars season 34 was a record-breaking season, with over 72 million votes cast during the finale, and reaching nearly half a billion votes for the entire season. In addition, the finale brought in 9.24 million viewers, which was its largest finale audience in nine years.
The ratings for season 34 were through the roof, which proves that Dancing With The Stars is more relevant and popular than ever. Dancing With The Holidays is the perfect gift to wrap up this incredible season.
