The Tennessee Titans had a rough outing against the Jacksonville Jaguars in their 25-3 Week 13 loss, and all of the positive vibes created by their strong recent play were replaced by disappointment and questions.
While the Titans have not added to their win column in recent weeks, they have shown growth and some incremental improvement that has given the fans and likely the players some confidence and excitement. Tennessee took a step back against the Jaguars with many of the bad habits from earlier in the season bubbling to the surface once again.

“For sure, it's a testament, but to win, you gotta lose. So at the end of the day, just continue to get better, try not to make the same mistakes each and every day.” Ward said. “But eventually the storm will pass, and in all this in life, we'll remember all these moments with the guys who were on our team this year, and we're excited about the future.”
2025 has been a trying season for Ward, and there is no doubt that the change of play-callers, the firing of Brian Callahan, and the overall offensive struggles are taking their toll on the young signal caller. Ward has suffered through a rough rookie season and is getting minimal help from his teammates on offense. The offensive line has been bad, the receivers can’t gain separation, and the running game has been non-productive and erratic at best.

Ward has shown growth and improvement in recent weeks and was coming off what could have been his best game in Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks. In the end, that is what 2025 is about.
Ward and his fellow rookies have flashed this season and should only improve with more experience, which aligns with the end of Ward’s statement. But the weight of these losses and the physical beating Ward takes every week has proven costly, both mentally and physically, for their prized young signal-caller.
With the 2025 season winding down, it’s soon going to be up to the front office to find the right head coach to help Ward and the Titans turn the corner. Then, once that is done, Mike Borgonzi will have the tall task of restocking a roster that has more deficiencies than answers. This will be a challenge, but if the Titans are going to rise from the depths, it has to happen.
