Besides the details, there is nothing about this post that Cleveland Browns fans did not know before clicking on it, even more so to those who have been around DBN since our founding in 2006. Since “The Return” in 1999, the Browns have been bad. While current HC Kevin Stefanski and GM Andrew Berry are potentially on the hot seat, their current run with the team is the best the fanbase has seen since getting their team back over a quarter-century ago.
Cleveland’s current regime is also currently in charge of the fourth losing season among their six with the franchise. Their 11-win playoff appearances in 2020 and 2023, two of just three postseasons made since 1999, are the saving grace for the current power structure.

In fact, if the Browns win another game, Stefanski will move into a tie with Marty Schottenheimer for fourth most coaching wins in Cleveland franchise history. That fact says a lot more about the struggles of the franchise than it does about the positives of the current coach.
As does this fact:
Four winning seasons. Three playoff appearances, including two recently. Six more losing seasons than any other team in that time frame. A long way to go to become competitive moving forward.
The greatest fanbase in all of the NFL deserves so much more. We here at DBN thank you for sticking around, caring so much, and hoping alongside us.
