Final 2025 SEC football regular season strength of schedule rankings

The 2025 college football regular season concluded Nov. 29 for Southeastern Conference schools. Georgia will face Alabama in the SEC championship game on Saturday.

Kickoff between the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide is scheduled for 4 p.m. EST. ABC will televise the matchup at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tennessee (8-4, 4-4 SEC) concluded its regular season with a, 45-24, loss to Vanderbilt at Neyland Stadium.

The Vols recorded wins against Syracuse, East Tennessee State, UAB, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Kentucky, New Mexico State and Florida.

Tennessee lost SEC games at Neyland Stadium to Georgia, Oklahoma and Vanderbilt, while losing on the road to Alabama.

Following the conclusion of regular season, ESPN's Football Power Index released updated strength of schedule rankings.

Tennessee finished its regular season ranked No. 31 nationally for strength of schedule. Ole Miss is the only SEC school ranked below the Vols for strength of schedule. The Rebels finished regular-season play ranked No. 40 nationally for strength of schedule.
