Sacha Boey has been on the fringes of Bayern Munich from his arrival. Brought in to establish himself in the pong term in Munich, consistent injuries and struggles to demonstrate his quality on the pitch have seen Boey unable to force himself into head coach Vincent Kompany’s plans. And despite some game time at the start of the season due to various injuries, Tom Bischof’s promising performances at left back and the return of some injured players has seen the former Galatasaray pushed even further down the pecking order.
Clearly, Bayern wish to sell Boey. The question was always, where would he end up after leaving Munich? According to Bild, as captured by @iMiaSanMia, he could end up in London:
Crystal Palace are interested in Sacha Boey. Contact has already taken place. Bayern are willing to sell the Frenchman and would be ready to listen to offers of around €15m.
Bayern and Crystal Palace are no strangers in doing business with one another. Some may simply remember Michael Olise’s move to Bayern but U.S. international Chris Richards headed the other way a few years back.

Perhaps signing another right back to lessen the load could prove useful to the club, though one wonders if Boey is the right profile of player to play as a RWB in manager Oliver Glasner’s 3 at the back formation.
