The Brooklyn Nets have been having a tough season to this point as the wins are coming few and far between while the losses are happening in bunches. Brooklyn is coming off a tough weekend in which they suffered blowout losses to the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks, but the Nets should be healthier as they begin the next week of their schedule.

The Nets announced on Sunday that forward Michael Porter Jr. is probable for Monday's game against the Charlotte Hornets as he continues to deal with tightness in his lower back. Porter has missed the last two games for the Nets with the injury, but Brooklyn listing him as probable for Monday's matchup with the Hornets is an upgrade for his condition, indicating that he is progressing in his rehab.

Per Meghan Triplett of YES Network, Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez said that Porter was day-to-day with his ailment and that he did not make the trip with the team to Milwaukee so that he could get treatment. Fernandez went on to say that the team was not worried about Porter's injury in the long-term and that he would be on the floor when he was ready to go without risking further injury.

Moving on in the injury report, the Nets also listed budding third-year forward Noah Clowney as probable for Monday's contest against Charlotte with left hip soreness. Clowney did not look physically compromised in Saturday's 116-99 loss to the Bucks, but he also played just 21 minutes, putting up just six points and three turnovers during his time on the floor.

In what could be cause for concern for the Nets, forward Terance Mann is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Hornets due to right rib soreness. Mann, who dropped four points and two steals in 21 minutes in Saturday's loss to Milwaukee, was also on the injury report for that game due to the same issue before he ended up playing. Brooklyn is hoping that will be the case on Monday as well.
