Don't look now, but the New York Jets are starting to stack wins together in 2025.

The Jets (3-9) took a win in Week 13 at home, topping the Atlanta Falcons in a 27-24 final. As the score line indicates, it was close affair and this one came down to the wire.

With that, here are Jets Wire's five takeaways from the Jets' win over the Falcons:

Folk hero

The Jets had a great overall day from their special teams unit throughout their win over the Falcons, from returns to other big plays. The most obvious credit goes to Nick Folk.

Folk connected on the game-winning kick as time expired from 56 yards out. Massive and clutch

Tyrod, offense put up points

Week 13 was the second game Tyrod Taylor started at quarterback since Justin Fields was benched. In his first outing last week, Taylor looked better via the eye test, but the Jets lost. On Sunday, his team both played better and won. Taylor was part of the reason why.

AD's day

Taylor's right-hand man was AD Mitchell. The Jets receiver had a career-best game in New York. He is only the third receiver to have a 100-yard game against the Falcons this season. Mitchell's final stat line: Eight catches on 12 targets for 102 yards and a touchdown.

Defense holds late

The Jets defense likely would have liked to have a better overall effort. The Falcons got 234 yards from quarterback Kirk Cousins and 142 more on the ground from Bijan Robinson.

Even so, New York held on when it mattered most. With the game tied at 24 late, the Jets defense forced back-to-back, very quick, three-and-outs against the Falcons offense. That was just enough.

Culture continues to build

After starting the season 0-7, the Jets have three wins in their past five games. There is a new light in the players' eyes wearing green and white. Head coach Aaron Glenn's efforts to change the culture for this Jets organization is starting to show.
