Iowa State center Audi Crooks broke her own program record with 47 points in Sunday’s 106-95 win over Indiana in the Coconut Hoops Blue Heron Division Championship game. The Cyclones star shot 19-for-25 from the field, with all of her attempts coming inside the arc. It’s already the third time in Crooks’ career that she has reached 40 points in a game.
She had set the Iowa State single-game record earlier in November with 43 points in a victory over Valparaiso, scoring 44 percent of her team’s points in just 20 minutes. She shot 18-for-23, 78 percent, in that game.

In seven of nine contests this season, Crooks has now scored 20 points or more and has at least 18 points in every game so far. In 77 collegiate games, the Algona, Iowa, native has scored in double figures in all but one appearance. That was her first career game in 2023. She has 48 career 20-or-more point contests, accounting for 62 percent of her games.
Teams have had trouble figuring out how to stop Crooks since she arrived on campus in 2023. This year, the No. 10 Cyclones are hoping to help Crooks get past the second round of the NCAA Tournament. At 9-0, Iowa State hosts Northern Illinois on Dec. 7 hoping to keep their undefeated season alive. Its rival Iowa comes to town on Dec. 10.
