Rashunda Jones had four points in the final 40 seconds while helping the Michigan State women’s basketball team pass its toughest test of the season to date.
Jones had a key layup and free throws as the No. 21-ranked Spartans held off a comeback for Clemson to record a 72-64 win in the title game of the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau tournament in Nassau, Bahamas on Sunday, Nov. 30.

Jones had 16 points, which included going 8-for-8 from the charity stripe, while helping MSU improve to 8-0.
Kennedy Blair led the way with a game-high 22 points and added 12 rebounds and five assists for the Spartans, who played without starting guard Theryn Hallock. She recorded her second double-double of the season and was 9-of-15 from the field and knocked down 3-of-4 from behind the 3-point arc.
Grace VanSlooten added 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting for MSU, which will return to action Sunday, Dec. 7 when it travels to Wisconsin to open Big Ten play.
Rusne Augustinaite had 17 points to lead Clemson (5-3).
