The NFL’s oldest rivalry is renewed for Week 14 as the (9-3) Chicago Bears head north to take on the (8-3-1) Green Bay Packers in their first of two meetings over the next three weeks.
This game doesn’t need any extra hype, but the Bears are currently the NFC’s number one seed, and the winner of this game will be all alone at the top of the NFC North.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe last time these two teams played was in the 2024 season finale in Lambeau Field, when the Bears won 24-22 on a Cairo Santos field goal as time expired.
This will be the latest these two teams have met with winning records since Week 15 in 2012, when Lovie Smith’s (8-5) Bears took on Mike McCarthy’s (9-5) Packers on December 16. Hopefully, this one has a better outcome than that one.
Our partners at FanDuel Sportsbook have the early line available, and the home Packers are a 5.5-point favorite. The over/under point total is 45.5, and if you think the Bears can straight up win this game, the money line for Chicago is +225.
Each team will have some extra time to prepare for the game, as the Packers last played on Thanksgiving, beating the Detroit Lions 31-24, while the Bears last played on Black Friday, beating the Philadelphia Eagles 24-15.
What are your thoughts on these early odds for the game?
