Snoopy and the Peanuts gang star in a variety of beloved holiday specials, and there's one place where you can watch them. Created by Charles M. Schulz, Peanuts is a daily and comic strip that originally ran from 1950 to 2000. Peanuts follows a group of children with different personalities, with the main characters being “lovable loser” Charlie Brown and his exceptional dog, Snoopy.

The success and popularity of Peanuts led to the characters and stories being adapted to other media, most notably animated TV shows and TV specials. In the latter category, Peanuts’ holiday specials stand out, and there’s one for almost every big holiday – and even though they are very popular, there’s only one company that owns the rights to them.

Apple TV Owns The Streaming Rights For Snoopy & Peanuts Titles Until 2030

Snoopy and the Peanuts gang have starred in a variety of adventures for decades, and in the current era of streaming services, it would be strange (and sad, to be honest) if the characters couldn’t be found anywhere. Luckily, Snoopy and Peanuts now have a new home over at Apple TV.

In an October 2025 press release, Apple announced that, thanks to a partnership, Apple TV is the new home for Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the Peanuts gang. The partnership includes new original Peanuts series and specials, along with the classic ones. It’s unknown if the animated series The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show will also be available at some point.

In addition to that, Apple, in conjunction with WildBrain and Peanuts, is working on a new animated Peanuts movie. According to the press release, Apple TV will be Peanuts’ home until 2030 (and it’s worth noting that it has been since 2020), after which it’s to be seen if there will be a new deal or if Snoopy and friends will have to find a new streaming home.

Along with Apple TV’s original Peanuts shows, like Camp Snoopy, The Snoopy Show, Snoopy in Space, and the documentary Who Are You, Charlie Brown, among others, the classic Peanuts holiday specials are also available to stream – and even better, there will be special dates when they will be free to stream.

It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown was available to stream for free on October 18 and 19; A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving streamed for free on November 15 and 16; and A Charlie Brown Christmas will be available to stream for free on December 13 and 14.

Unfortunately, Snoopy’s holiday specials aren’t available to stream anywhere else, but they are available to buy on Amazon. Those looking to watch Peanuts’ holiday specials, as well as Apple TV’s original Snoopy shows, will need a subscription, but they can also seize those free streaming dates.
