After Purdue football's 2026 signing class lost a receiver last week, it gained one Sunday.

Johnson made an official visit for the Old Oaken Bucket game this past weekend. He had been committed to Coastal Carolina since June.

Johnson is ranked outside the national top 2,000 and 305th among receivers in the On3/Rivals industry rankings. Johnson was the second 2026 addition of the weekend, joining Iowa Western Community College safety Dax Noles.

Purdue lost a receiver commit when Kymistrii Young flipped his commitment to North Carolina last week.
