The Carolina Panthers picked up a statement win on Sunday over the Los Angeles Rams.

In the process, the NFC playoff picture was upended.
The Rams fall to 9-3, and they're no longer the top seed in the NFC. The Chicago Bears hold that after their win on Thanksgiving.

The Panthers are now 7-6. They'll stay within striking distance of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC South.
Young led the way. He was 15-for-20 passing for 206 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winning 43-yarder over the top to Tetairoa McMillan.

Rico Dowdle added 58 rushing yards.

Jalen Coker led the receiving corps with four catches for 74 yards and a touchdown. Coker had the game-clinching catch on third down just before the two-minute warning.
The Panthers have sure had a bumpy season, but this is a great peak, and it keeps them alive.
