The Washington Commanders are 3-8 and out of the NFL playoff race. After missing three weeks with a dislocated elbow, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport has indicated that QB Jayden Daniels may return during a Week 14 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
Daniels has been battling lingering knee and hamstring injuries this year. During a blowout against the Seattle Seahawks, Daniels was still in the game late when a tackle resulted in a nasty dislocation. Fortunately, no ligament damage or surgery was required. He was a limited participant in practice all week and has not been cleared for contact as of yet.

But there isn't a guarantee the team will play him the rest of the way, as the return was more of a "chance" to return. Daniels would comment on the matter, stating, "If I'm out there, man, I'm going to give it my all." "You want to go out there and play as a competitor. And that's who I am."
Backup QB Marcus Mariota has filled in for the second-year QB, throwing for 1,065 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions, but has only been able to pull out one win. A loss to the Denver Broncos today would mark the eighth non-winning season in the last nine years for Washington.
