Indianapolis Colts defensive back and former University of Cincinnati Bearcats standout Sauce Gardner was helped off the field and taken to the locker room during the first quarter of the Colts' NFL Week 13 game against the Houston Texans.
The Colts announced that Gardner was questionable to return with a calf injury.

Gardner was declared out by head coach Aaron Glenn for the Jets' game against the Bengals in NFL Week 8 at Paycor Stadium. Gardner was in the NFL's concussion protocol.
Gardner, the fourth overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft by the Jets, signed a four-year, $120.4 million extension in July.
