The Los Angeles Chargers will be without running back Omarion Hampton yet again in Week 13.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementHampton, who suffered an ankle injury in Week 5, has been on injured reserve ever since. He did manage to return to practice this past week, but he was not cleared in time to play.
With Hampton set to miss his seventh-straight game this week, here's a look at when the rookie rusher might return to the lineup.
When is Omarion Hampton coming back?
Because he has been designated to return from injured reserve, Hampton, who is recovering from a fractured ankle, could be activated to play at any time.
The Chargers have 21 days to activate Hampton from the day he was cleared to return to practice, so they don't have to activate him until Dec. 17, which means there's at least a chance he doesn't return until Week 16.

“It was a good week,” Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said to reporters during the week. “Really beneficial, ramping up. Everything’s on track to return, not this week.”
With the Chargers playing on Monday next week, we should get another update on Hampton no later than Thursday, when the Chargers drop their first injury report of the week before the game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
